Side event, African Commission on Human and People’s Rights
On 4 November, Iranti, SIPD Uganda, Human Rights Watch and the University of Pretoria Centre for Human Rights are holding a side event at the 61st session of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights in Banjul, Gambia.
You are invited to a panel discussion to raise awareness and encourage serious, systematic and continuous attention on the protection and promotion of the human rights of Intersex people.
Speakers at the event will be Commissioner Lawrence Mute, Wendy Isaack of Human Rights Watch, Joshua Sehoole of Iranti, and Tapiwa Mamhare of the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria. The event will be moderated by Monica Tabengwa.
