Mexican intersex community publish flyer to make intersex visible
Members of the Mexican intersex community have published a free distribution flyer to celebrate Intersex Awareness Day.
The projects, Brújula Intersexual, Intersex y Andrógino, Vivir y Ser Intersex and Yo Intersexual issued a free distribution flyer to give visibility to intersex issues in Mexico. It will be distributed in events, schools and hospital centers around the country through allies of the intersex community.
The flyer contains basic information about intersex issues, and seeks to raise awareness about the problems faced by intersex people, such as violations of their human rights derived from the pathologization of intersex bodies, as well as discrimination in school settings, labor and access to health services.
