Stockholm: screening of Intersexion


 

Members of Intersex Scandinavia will speak at a screening of the film Intersexion on Intersex Day of Solidarity.

Queer Amnesty Stockholm and Trans Fest Stockholm will be screening the film Intersexion on Intersex Day of Solidarity, 8 November.

It is a heart-warming documentary with intersex people telling their own stories. It shows intersex lives as meaningful even when facing discrimination and human rights abuses. The film is in English, without subtitles. After the screening, there will be a panel discussion on intersex rights moderated by Ulrika Westerlund, well-known LGBTQI activist. The panel discussion will also be held in English. Participants in the panel discussion: Ellie Nordfelt, Intersex Scandinavia, Helle Jacobsen, Amnesty Denmark Emelie Mire Åsell, RFSL’s spokesperson on trans and intersex issues Måns Molander, Director of Human Rights Watch Sweden
