7th New York City Intersex Awareness Day

Intersex rights are human rights
Claudia Astorino, Georgiann Davis and friends are holding a 7th annual Intersex Awareness Day event in New York City:

What is intersex? How do intersex people identify? How do views about what it means to be intersex inform medical “treatment” decisions?

Join intersex activists Claudia Astorino and Georgiann Davis to discuss these topics from Davis’s book, Contesting Intersex: The Dubious Diagnosis (2015).

Also join Kristin Russo (Everyone Is Gay, My Kid Is Gay) discussing the importance of intersex inclusion and EIG’s commitment to intersex issues! With Q&A to follow. See you there!

The event was supported by a fundraiser to help get Georgiann and Kristin to NYC.
