InterACT resources
InterACT has launched two new resources.
InterACT have launched “What We Wish Our Friends Knew, A Guide for Intersex Allies”, for Intersex Awareness Day.
It’s my right to decide what I share with others.
The guide is available as a downloadable and printable PDF.
The Gay Straight Alliance Network, in collaboration with the InterACT Youth Program , have published a resource guide on “How to Make Your GSA Intersex Friendly”.
The informative document encourages GSAs to participate in Intersex Awareness Day to be in solidarity with their intersex peers to help create safe, supportive, and inclusive environments. The two page guide lists five direct actions GSAs can take to become more Intersex friendly and provides supporting information and links to online resources to help them do so. The work of the InterACT Youth Program continues to help spread awareness for the Intersex movement.
Emily Quinn, InterACT Youth Program Coordinator, stated:
[H]opefully it will help many high school intersex kids feel welcomed and accepted.
